“Attending Professional Development Seminars keeps payroll professionals up to date with changing legislation.” — Koralei F., CPM
When it comes to payroll, you and your employees cannot afford any mistakes. Employees need to get paid so that they have money to pay their bills. Our research shows that 43 per cent are living paycheque to paycheque - which makes the personal financial stress that follows not getting paid, immense.
In addition to the impact to your employees, a payroll breakdown also puts your organization at risk. At risk of fines from the government. Reputational risk if the public becomes aware of the breakdown. Operational risk if employees refuse to work or are less motivated. Even your business continuity may be put at risk.
Protecting your business and employees from these perils starts with information and education. In Nova Scotia, Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia and beyond, the Canadian Payroll Association can provide best-in-class training to payroll teams and payroll departments - large and small - on a host of topics. From basic legislative requirements or year-end processing, through taxable benefits, employment standards and even group benefits, our team of dedicated payroll educators are available to help.
Whether you are located in a big city like Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal, or a smaller centre like Lethbridge, Brandon or St. John, we have the payroll people and payroll information your staff need. Starting from $5,000, we are happy to develop a payroll specific training program to suit your business.
We'd love to discuss your corporate payroll training needs and how we can help.
If you have any questions or would like to talk about what training is right for you and your team, please fill out the form and we will be in touch.
