Payroll professionals must give thorough attention to the management of payroll data, including from the point of compiling pay information through complete reconciliation between the payroll worksheets, the payroll company's reports, and the general ledger. This is especially true in 2020 as there will be added complexities during the year-end balancing process for employers who took advantage of the 10% Temporary Wage Subsidy and other government programs.
