Highlights

• Joined the CPA in 1981 when she responded to an appeal for volunteers to assist at the Professional Development Seminars across Canada.
  
  
• First volunteer assignment was the Programs Committee in 1988.
  
  
• Joined the Manitoba/Northwestern Ontario Regional Committee in 1988.
  
  
• Served on the 1991-1992 Board of Directors as Director, National Programs.
  
  
• Helped to organize CPA Fall Tours, which visited cities coast to coast each year and included a speaker presenting a current topic and relevant payroll information.
  
  
• Served on the 1997 National Conference Committee and as a member of the Communications Standing Committee.
  
  
• "Volunteering opened up a whole new world of people and places for me," says Pat. "Working as a volunteer really gave me the confidence to go on to bigger and better things."
