Highlights

1980-1983 Chairman
The CPA's first treasurer in 1978.
Worked as a Payroll Manager with McMaster University.
Helped draft the Association's first mission statement.
Oversaw the establishment of the first local branch in Kitchener-Waterloo in 1981.
Helped develop the Payroll Level I Accreditation Program, which was the precursor to the PMCP program and the PCP and CPM programs.
Lead organizer for CPA Annual Conference in 1985.
Diana Ferguson remembers he was somewhat shy when he first joined the Board. "He really blossomed during his time on the Board."
From DIALOGUE magazine, Summer 1983: "For the past two years it has been my honour and privilege to serve the Association as your President, a position in which I took much pride. I believe strongly in the Association and have devoted myself to improve and enhance the Association so that all members will be proud to be part of such an organization."
