- 2010-2011 CPA Chairman
- Working in the payroll profession since 1991.
- During her 12 years with JDSU she managed the payroll growth as it grew from 500 to over 10,000 employees and the reduction to a level of approximately 400 employees due to the downturn in the high tech industry in 2008.

In addition, Cindy volunteered to act as a pilot client with her service provider to test the development of the first service provider electronic ROE service. Her feedback was instrumental in finalizing the final product that went to market in 2005.

Cindy has been a volunteer with the CPA since 1995 when she joined the Ottawa branch.
- Has been a subject matter expert since 1999 as well as an instructor for the PCP, CPM and PDS programs.
- Ottawa branch chair in 1998 and held this position until she was elected to the Board of Directors in 2005.
- Cindy co-chaired the 2004 Ottawa national conference and is an active participant in the Federal Government Relations Advisory Council and a key contributor to the changes in the PIER system.
