Highlights

Christine Williams was a Director and former Chairman of the Institute of Payroll Professionals in the United Kingdom (IPP).

As a founding member, Chris has been involved with the development of professional qualifications from the beginning. She has particular interest in the professional qualifications and has developed strong links with our sister associations in America, Canada and Australia.

An important aspect of Chris's role is overseeing the development of new opportunities. Initiatives for 2002 were Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and the 2002 Global Payroll Conference that was held in London. This was the first time that the Global Conference was held in the UK.

As Chris says, "Every year is a challenge. The numbers of payroll, pensions and related people taking our qualifications constantly delights me. The professions go from strength to strength."
