1992-1993 Chairman
Involvement with CPA dates back to 1979 when he was appointed the voting member for TransCanada Pipelines Ltd. Currently he is the Managing Director of LeadingEdge Payroll Group Inc.
10 years of volunteering with the CPA prior to working at the Association.
Appointed to the Board of Directors in 1989. Member of the CPA's Executive Committee from 1990 to June of 1994.
Became a CPA staff member in 1994 when he was hired as Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer. In October 1997, he was appointed Executive Director. He held this post until September 1999.
"Volunteering broadened my horizons," Bill said in DIALOGUE of June 1992. "The CPA put me in positions that were different than my normal working life. It provided me an opportunity to participate in the leadership of a national association, learn about and engage in strategic planning, and gain insights into public relations and government relations practices. The Association has made a real difference in my personal and professional life and I heartily encourage other payroll professionals to get involved."
