More and more organizations are offering flexible benefits plans and health spending accounts. Join the CPA for this informative web seminar that will explore the legislative aspects of flex plans with a focus on offering your employees a tax-free health-spending account. The session will cover an overview of flex plans and health-spending accounts and will include a Q and A period made up of pre-submitted questions and live questions submitted during the seminar. Have your payroll-related questions ready and get practical answers to your inquiries.

The following issues will be addressed in the overview:

  • Advantages of a flex plan over a traditional insurance plan
  • Employee & employer savings
  • CRA and MRQ guidelines
  • Taxability
  • Eligible & non-eligible expenses
